In the US, preventative nutrition services are not covered by insurance. On average, US students receive less than 8 hours of required nutrition education each school year. Access to nutrition counseling and education decreases dramatically as families near or fall below the poverty line. Nutrition for All is harnessing the power of the community to bring consistent, personalized nutrition services to underserved families in the Twin Cities. Each dollar donated is poured directly into educating our families and growing our program.
